Some drivers do not realize you must drive faster than the speed limit in the left lane on a busy highway, while other drivers are too afraid to surpass the speed limit.
2. When your manager at Steve Madden tells you that you will get out of work at 10 p.m, but then you end up leaving the store at 11 p.m.
My manager sometimes takes too long to write up the store progress report and close the registers.
3. My roommate leaves her trash all over the kitchen counter and fails to take out the garbage during her turns.
She forgets to take responsibility for her trash, or she simply doesn't feel like taking out the trash some days.
4. If my friend tells me to be ready at a certain time, then she takes an additional 30 minutes to get herself ready.
She rushes to make sure I am ready; however, she fails to realize she also needs to hurry to get ready.
5. My one friend who always claims to split the Uber, but she never actually splits the Uber with me.
She might not realize the Uber app isn't working properly on her phone.
6. The Chipotline line on University Avenue is so slow at 7 p.m. that it takes a solid 45 minutes to order your meal.
This long wait results from the high demand of students looking for dinner at 7 p.m.
7. Jaywalkers who walk right in front of your car on Biscayne Boulevard during the night.
Some pedestrians refuse to wait for the crosswalk.
8. When my friend borrows my skirt for a party, and she breaks my skirt without offering to compensate me for it.
She may have unintentionally broken the skirt, but she could at least replace it or compensate me for it.
9. Drivers who turn on their hazards during heavy rain on the Turnpike.
You should only turn your hazards on if you intend to pull over. These drivers may not be aware that you are not supposed to drive with them on.
10. Public displays of affection. Couples who hold hands through busy intersections such as Turlington cause traffic jams.
Couples who must hold hands throughout campus pose a roadblock to students that need to arrive to class on time.
11. When Aeromexico tells you that your flight takes off at 6 p.m. and your flight gets delayed until 9 p.m.
The airline might encounter problems with the plane or other flights running behind schedule.
12. Scooters that park behind you in the Library West scooter parking area.
Impatient scooter drivers will park their scooter behind you if no spots are available.
13. When you go to pick up your romper from the Miami Shores Dry cleaners to find out that it was burned in the dry cleaning fire.
The dry cleaner failed to properly monitor the machines as they cleaned the clothes.
14. UF Nails paints your nails on a Monday, and then your nails start to chip the next day.
UF Nails might put too much acetone in their nail polish to preserve the nail polish.
15. My friend who cancelled plans we made 2 weeks ago the night before we were supposed to go to a football game.
My one friend lacks time management; therefore, she always cancels plans at the last minute.
16. Red Coach overbooks their bus; therefore, you are stuck in the Red Coach station in Orlando for an extra 5 hours until the next bus arrives to take you to Miami.
Lack of communication and planning in the Red Coach station may have led to this mistake.
17. When you are waiting in line for a ride at Disney World, and the guy in front of you starts smoking a cigar.
Chronic smokers cannot suppress the urge to light up their cigars; however, they should be more respectful of others.
18. When Trimark Properties tells you that they will compensate you for your exorbitant utilities bill due to their construction, but Trimark fails to compensate you.
Trimark Properties may not have opened my emails about the utilities compensation.
19. Drivers that fail to use their turn signals on the Palmetto.
These drivers automatically assume the right of way without following driving rules.
20. The waiter at Anthony's Coal Fired Pizza gave me the wrong bill.
The waiter must have confused my bill for another customer's bill.
Comprising a list of bugs in
the world deemed more challenging than I originally expected. It was easy to
identify “bugs.” The most difficult part was identifying the causes of these
bugs. This exercise forces you to look at different perspective than you
normally do.
