9A Testing the Hypothesis

Inside the Boundary
Outside the Boundary
Who is in: Vegans, bodybuilders, fitness gurus, and some athletes
Who is not: Unhealthy students, students who prefer to eat anything
What the need is: The need to obtain vegan options on places around campus
What the need is not: Eating meat and unhealthy foods
Why the need exists: Vegans and healthy people do not have any restaurants where they can actually eat
Alternative Explanations: Lack of vegan friendly restaurants

I interviewed people outside the boundary. The people who fall outside the boundary did not seem interested in eating healthy foods. They emphasized their apathy towards eating food. Some people I interviewed just blatantly did not want to pay more money or spend extra time to find healthier foods around campus. The people who fall inside the boundary drastically differed from the people outside the boundary. The people inside the boundary stressed an active lifestyle with mostly vegan foods and cooking in their homes. After interviewing the people outside the boundary, I have concluded that these people just do not care to eat specific vegan friendly food and simply want to satisfy their hunger with any foods.
